With its “Malevolence” arc, Clone Wars began what would grow into one of the show’s core strengths: epic arc storytelling. (Check out the wild and wacky first couple seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation if you’re doubting my analogy.) 2008’s first season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars isn’t without its bumps, but it also lays down serious disco tracks for the grand slams the show would hit eventually. That makes total sense, as the little newborn show is just learning how to walk and talk, feed itself and use the potty like the big kids do. By Jason Gibner.
